BoatTEST is Celebrating its 20th Year by “Making Boats Affordable”™

On September 15, 2000, BoatTEST made history by being the first company in the marine industry to produce and stream test videos of boats on its website. With over 3,000 boats tested in nearly 20 years, BoatTEST has become perhaps the most copied website in the marine industry.

By taking the side of the consumer and explaining everything they needed to know about the boats they were considering, BoatTEST changed the way new boats were purchased and sold. Consumers no longer needed to rely on boat salespeople, or a know-it-all on the dock. They finally had authoritative information in a format designed for online research. Today, when consumers go into a dealer’s showroom, they often know more about the boat than the salesperson.

The result is that, among our members, 88% say that BoatTEST is the most influential media in shaping their buying decisions – far ahead of other sources such as builders’ websites (53%) and boating magazines (28%).

It is for that reason that BoatTEST has the highest credibility in the industry for evaluating consumer products, and for telling the truth.

What is BoattestLEASING?

Once again, BoatTEST is making history and taking the side of the consumer by making boats affordable through a leasing program that helps both new boat buyers and people who would like to own a boat, but whose budgets won’t permit it.

By drawing upon BoatTEST’s staff of four USCG-certified captains, it can identify new premium boats that fits consumers' needs.

Because our staff is immersed in boating products and equipment, we can properly equip boats to make them user friendly. This new division of BoatTEST will work one-on-one with consumers as both consultants on boats and usage, and help boat owners earn income from other boaters who will gladly pay for the opportunity to lease a quality, premium boat with virtually all expenses paid, and no financing charges.
